UPDATE 1 December 2024

We have taken the difficult decision to leave the Good Company collaboration space that we co-created with Change Please almost two years ago.

Commercial pressures meant it was no longer viable to continue.

Less people visited than we had hoped. It was a challenge being tucked away behind Euston Road - an easily accessible central London location but in the opposite direction to the commercial buzz of Oxford Street, and with local office workers never fully returning after covid. 

Meanwhile the costs of operating a hospitality business, with high building, energy and people costs, are high.

Change Please are continuing to run the space as a social enterprise cafe and barista training centre for people who have experienced homelessness. Please do continue to support them by popping in for a coffee if you're in the area.

Toast has moved just around the corner to the wonderful Impact Hub Euston and you'll certainly still find our team at Good Company enjoying Change Please's great coffee.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported this venture by visiting for a coffee, beer or event, and to the many great charities, social enterprises and purpose-led businesses who hosted events in Good Company.

GOOD COMPANY LAUNCHES

We joined forces with our social enterprise friends at Change Please in March 2023 to launch our first taproom experience.

Good Company (GoodCompany.London and on Instagram at GoodCompanyLDN) is serving life-saving coffee by day and planet-saving beer by night, helping fight homelessness and food waste. 

CHANGE PLEASE

Change Please aims to end homelessness through great tasting coffee. All its profits go towards giving people experiencing homelessness a fresh shot at life.

We host a training academy at Good Company, where people train to become specialty coffee baristas. Change Please also support them to turn their lives around with a living wage job, housing, therapy, a bank account and onward employment opportunities.

FOOD & DRINK

Everything we source and serve will be from companies having a positive impact on the world. From hot pies by the B Corp Pieminster to a full range of spirits from B Corp brands, organic wine, Sxollie cider and of course Toast beers. 

We also serve exciting beer collaborations. We kicked off with a couple of surplus bread beers brewed in collaboration with the all female brewery Gebrouwen Door Vrouwen. We've also had beer by Tap Social Movement, a craft brewery that provides training and employment to people currently serving or recently released from prison sentences 

EVENTS

Good Company aims to be more than just a place to drink great coffee, beer and other drinks, it will also host regular events, including talks and film screenings. We want to host events that bring sustainability and social responsibility to life, making the space a hub for progressive businesses. We'd love to hear what you'd like to see - help us to shape the schedule.

We also hire out Good Company for private events on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Read more about our private hire events here.

 

THE SPACE

We have a great space, with capacity for 150 people. All furniture os modular and so it can be set up for lots of different needs.

There's also an outside seating area that opens onto the redeveloped pedestrian-only nature walkway at the heart of British Land’s Regent’s Place campus.

SUSTAINABILITY

As part of our commitment to zero waste, we've reused furniture and equipment left behind by the previous cafe that closed during covid lockdowns. We've also sourced second hand furniture to fill the space.

The space is energy efficient, using occupancy sensors to minimise energy use, and uses 100% renewable electricity.

We have a comprehensive recycling program and a zero waste policy for food waste. We use Too Good to Go who enable the sale of discounted surplus cafe food to customers through its app.

VISIT 

Come to see us for a beer, a coffee or a bite to eat soon. We're at 17-19 Triton Street, London NW1 3BF, near Warren Street and Gt Portland St tube stations. 

We're open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with extended opening for the taproom to 10pm on Thursdays.
