Impact Report 2022

Our 2022 Impact Report is out today, marking the end of #BCorpMonth.
We're celebrating saving over 3 million slices of surplus bread, donating over £106k to charity and creating heaps of positive impact since we launched in 2016.
Our report includes a deep dive on our full value chain carbon footprint (Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions): 215 tCO2e.
We break down the emissions sources from grain to glass: ingredients (22%), brewing (7%), packaging (56%), distribution (12%) and customers chilling& waste (2%). It also includes the Toast Bread Quarters office and travel (1%).
We've offset all emissions through projects with ClimatePartner to be carbon neutral.
We're also actively working to reduce our carbon footprint and have included our progress on plans to get to Net Zero across our value chain by 2030. The actions we've included will reduce emissions by approximately 72%.
We're determined to use our beers and our business to have a positive impact, but we believe the critical work is in collective action.
We've joined forces with other organisations such as Business Declares, the Better Business Act and Zero hour to call for systemic change and will be at The Big One on 21st April. Join us!
